TURTLE COVE P.O.A

Special Called Meeting 5-17-07

In Attendance – Amanda Crews, Rhett Glover, Emilu Bailes, Don Jernigan, Kathy Abood, Ray Runge, Linda Bernard

Meeting called to order 7:30 PM

Motion: Motion by Emilu to raise the Annual Dues, beginning January 2008, by $100, from $215 to $315. Seconded by Linda Bernard.

A quorum was established. There being 1277 members-in-good-standing on this date, 383 votes were required. (Section 8.07, Declaration of Covenants: thirty percent)

Proxy Votes taken from those who could not attend, and written votes taken from those present, were counted and verified with supervision by an officer of the McIntosh State Bank. (An independent, non-member of the Association.) A total of 731 valid votes were cast. Of the 731 votes received, 488 were needed for the motion to carry. (Section 8.04, Declaration of Covenants: two-thirds)

YES Votes: 459

NO Votes: 272

Motion does not carry.

Alternate methods to ensure the financial security of TCPOA will be investigated by the Board of Directors during the remainder of 2007.
