VOLUNTEERS AT TURTLE COVE

share the views of those who see different sides.”
“Volunteering can be an exciting, growing, enjoyable experience. It is truly gratifying to serve a cause, practice one’s ideals, work with people, solve problems, see benefits, and know one had a hand in them.” The
Board of Directors at Turtle Cove actively recruit volunteers from our
membership of property owners to examine issues, gather information,
participate in democratic process with other committee members, form
recommendations and present those recommendations to the Board of
Directors for consideration.
COMMITTEE GUIDELINES:
Since July 2006 these issues have been investigated, considered, and resulted in recommendations to the Board of Directors: GOLF - dress code BUDGET – operating within annual budget limits BUDGET - preservation of Reserve Funds FOOD & BEVERAGE - increasing profitability ADMINISTRATION - timely reporting of monthly Income/Expense documents ADMINISTRATION - update of property ownership (data base) LEGAL - timely filing of liens LEGAL - improvement to collections process. During the coming months the following issues (among others) will be investigated, considered, and brought to the Board of Directors via recommendations: ADMINISTRATION - definition of “members” eligible to include on annual Members User Sheet FOOD & BEVERAGE - rental fee scale for use of the club meeting room, restaurant, pool, pool deck, golf course, etc. ANNUAL FEES (OTHER THAN DUES) - annual fees for use of recreational facilities (e.g. golf package, pool package, tennis package, etc.) You are invited to participate in this process by contacting any member of the Board of Directors.Liaison Position June 2007 – June 2008
